Prakash Parappurath Vasudevan

Prakash Vasudevan was born in Kerala, India on 05 April, 1992. He received his Master's degree in Electronics Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology (India), in April 2016. From June 2015 to April 2016, he was a research intern at GE Global Research, Bangalore. During this period, his research work was focused on "Multi-Phase Flow Metering (MPFM) using microwave techniques". He completed a six month research program with University of Brest (France) and THALES on the topic  "Analysis of Radome Enclosed Monopulse Antenna", before joining Ghent university. He joined the MEDISIP group of ELIS department and WAVES group of INTEC department in January 2017 as a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Roel Van Holen and Prof. Wout Joseph. His research focuses on assessment of dielectric tissue parameters using MRI for investigating the electromagnetic fields in humans.
